Usually young people have certain discounts and privileges in things like transport, leisure or education. However, most of the times the student card you got before leaving home is the one that offers you less discounts, and it's not until after a few months of being in a new place that you find out that you could have saved half of the money in bus tickets or that you had free entrance to the museums third Sunday of the month.
